This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with clause 9 of those Terms. If there is any inconsistency, the Terms of Service take priority.
Research Use Only
All Products are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes. They are not for human consumption or administration, veterinary use, or diagnostic purposes.
Cancellation before dispatch
You may cancel an Order at any time before we send your Dispatch Confirmation by contacting us with your order number. We will refund any sum paid in full.
No cancellation or return after dispatch
Because of the nature of research chemicals, and because we cannot verify how Products have been stored or handled once they leave our control, Orders placed by Research Purchasers cannot be cancelled after the Dispatch Confirmation has been sent, and we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or ordering errors, except where required by law or as set out below.
Sealed Products
All Products are supplied sealed. We cannot accept the return of any Product whose seal, vial, cap or protective packaging has been opened, broken or tampered with, except where we agree that the Product is faulty.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect Products
Please inspect your Order on receipt. If anything arrives damaged, short or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs so that we can raise a claim with the carrier. Do not open any Product you believe is incorrect. Prompt notification helps us resolve the issue quickly; it does not affect your right to tell us about a fault that could not reasonably have been discovered on delivery. Subject to your statutory rights, where we accept that a Product was damaged on arrival, faulty or not as ordered, we will replace it or refund the price paid, and will cover reasonable return postage where we ask for the Product back.
Lost parcels
Parcels marked as lost in transit are dealt with under our Shipping Policy.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the original payment method only. We are not responsible for delays caused by payment providers.
Your statutory rights
We sell only to Research Purchasers. If you are found in law to be a consumer, nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Please note that Products are sealed goods which are not suitable for return once unsealed for health protection and hygiene reasons, and are liable to deteriorate rapidly, so no right of cancellation applies to any Product once its seal or packaging has been opened.
