IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3 is an 83-amino-acid analogue of insulin-like growth factor 1 with arginine in place of glutamic acid at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension. These changes greatly reduce binding to IGF-binding proteins, prolonging its activity, and it is widely used as a growth-factor supplement in cell culture.
