KLOW has become one of the most searched-for peptide blends in the UK this year, and one of the least well explained. Most listings describe it in a sentence and leave it there. This article sets out what is actually in a KLOW vial, what each component is, and what the research literature on each one covers, so that anyone specifying it for laboratory work knows exactly what they are handling.
What KLOW is
KLOW is a pre-blended, lyophilised combination of four research peptides in a single vial: GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV. The name is shorthand rather than a chemical designation.
Our KLOW vial contains 80mg of total peptide. The blend is fixed-ratio, so the proportions are the same in every vial of a batch. Per-component quantities are stated on the batch certificate of analysis.

The four components, individually
GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu occurs naturally in human plasma and its concentration declines with age. In cell-culture and animal work it is studied for its effect on collagen and elastin gene expression, fibroblast behaviour and extracellular-matrix remodelling. It is the component that gives a reconstituted KLOW solution its characteristic blue tint, which is normal and comes from the copper complex.
BPC-157
BPC-157 is a stable pentadecapeptide with a large preclinical literature, mostly in rodent models of tendon, ligament and gastrointestinal injury. Mechanistic work has looked at angiogenic signalling through VEGFR2 and the nitric-oxide system. It is not an approved medicine anywhere.
TB-500
TB-500 is a synthetic version of the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4. It is used in research on cell migration, actin polymerisation and tissue remodelling, and is often paired with BPC-157 in preclinical study designs.
KPV
KPV is the three-amino-acid C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It retains part of the parent molecule's activity profile without the same action at melanocortin receptors, and is studied in vitro for NF-κB signalling and in murine colitis models. It enters cells via the PepT1 oligopeptide transporter.
What the research does and does not cover
It is worth being direct about this: the published literature concerns each of these peptides on its own. There is very little peer-reviewed work on the four in combination. KLOW as a blend is a convenience for laboratories that would otherwise reconstitute four separate vials, not a compound with its own evidence base. Anyone describing combined effects is extrapolating.
Handling and storage
- Store lyophilised at 2–8°C, protected from light.

KLOW vs GLOW
GLOW is the same GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 base without KPV, supplied as a 70mg vial. If a protocol has no inflammatory-signalling component, GLOW is the simpler choice; KLOW adds KPV for those that do.
