Privacy policy

This policy explains how UK Research Group Ltd (trading as Peptide Stock, company number 17451832, 128 City Rd, London, EC1V 2NX) uses personal information when you visit our websites (peptidestock.co.uk and verify.peptidestock.co.uk), contact us, apply for an account, or have ordered from us in the past. What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use our contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional), the topic, any order reference you give, and your message. If you message us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we keep what you send us.
• Account applications and verification. Details about your organisation, your role, the intended research use and supporting evidence you provide so we can decide whether to supply.
• Orders. For account customers, and for orders placed through our former online shop before 30 October 2026: names, delivery and billing addresses, contact details, order contents, payment status and delivery tracking. We never receive full payment card details.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser information to deliver and secure the website. To limit spam, the contact form stores a one-way, daily-changing code derived from your IP address, not the address itself.

Our public websites do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and do not set cookies on your device.

How we use it, and our legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and to supply account customers: to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform the contract.
• To verify organisations, prevent misuse and fraud, keep our systems secure and limit spam: our legitimate interests in operating lawfully and safely.
• To keep accounting, tax and compliance records, and to respond to lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement: legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not send marketing emails from this website. If you signed up for emails through our former online shop and want to be removed, contact us.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers, who process information for us under contract:

• Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
• Neon (database hosting, UK data centre)
• Resend (delivery of emails, including contact form messages to us)
• Shopify (records of orders placed through our former online shop)
• Royal Mail (deliveries)
• Our payment and banking providers (payments)

If you contact us by WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes those messages under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, or to regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to protect it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't lead to an account: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Account, verification and order records: for the life of the account and 6 years afterwards (or 6 years after the order), for tax, accounting and compliance purposes.
• Anti-spam codes: deleted with the message they relate to.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your personal information, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or transfer it to you or another organisation. Some rights are limited, for example where we must keep records by law. To use your rights, email info@peptidestock.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity first, and will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've used your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.

We'll update this policy when our practices change, and show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
